Piers Morgan implies that all handguns should be banned

Film maker Michael Moore quickly seized upon the tragic school massacre in Connecticut to call for “strict gun control,” while CNN host Piers Morgan implied that all handguns should be banned.

The way to honor these dead children is to demand strict gun control, free mental health care, and an end to violence as public policy.

Liberal talking heads wasted no time at all in exploiting the horrendous events this morning at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, where 18 children were amongst the 27 killed, to push their political agenda.

“The way to honor these dead children is to demand strict gun control, free mental health care, and an end to violence as public policy,” tweeted Michael Moore, whose 2002 film Bowling For Columbine was a poster child for firearms regulation.

CNN host Piers Morgan implied that even handguns should be banned in America when he tweeted, “This is America’s Dunblane. We banned handguns in Britain after that appalling tragedy. What will the U.S. do? Inaction not an option.”

However, Morgan is seemingly ignorant of the fact that the decision to ban handguns in Britain did nothing to lower gun crime. In the six years following the ban, gun crime more than doubled.

“Nothing happened after Aurora, now it MUST,” Morgan preached in a subsequent tweet, adding, “This is now President Obama’s biggest test – will he have the courage to stand up to the American gun lobby?”

Morgan also recently went on the offensive against the Second Amendment in the aftermath of the murder/suicide involving Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher and his girlfriend, remarking that it was, “Quite incredible that Bob Costas makes an impassioned plea for less handguns, and Americans go crazy with indignation. He’s 100% right.”

Given the recent all time record high in Black Friday gun sales amidst fears that Barack Obama will use his lame duck term to take a bite out of the second amendment, today’s tragedy in Connecticut is only likely to spur more firearms purchases by law-abiding Americans. Following the July ‘Batman massacre’ in Aurora Colorado, gun sales spiked by almost double normal figures.

A horrific shooting at a Connecticut elementary school claiming the lives 27 people, including 18 children, will undoubtedly be used by the government and its establishment media to cynically push for a further rollback of the Second Amendment, especially following the concealed carry victory in Illinois.

The suspected gunman – who was either killed or took his own life – was the father of one of the students, according to CBS News. Because the rampage occurred this morning, there are still very few details about the gunman or his motivations.
As we have documented on numerous occasions, many of the mass casualty shootings in the United States have the hallmark of being perpetuated by mind controlled assassins or are attributed to mind controlled patsies.<

From neuroscience student James Holmes‘ suspicious military psychiatrist to Jared Loughner‘s fascination with mind control – mirroring that of Mark David Chapman, John Hinckley, as well as Columbine killers Harris and Klebold – the narrative on recent mass shootings share unmistakable similarities.

Moreover, like the Colorado shooting, there are reports surfacing that there was a second shooter at the school in Connecticut, a detail that will, if confirmed, dispel the current report that the shooter was a father of a student and possibly engaged in some sort of violent vendetta or suffering from psychosis. The latter will feed into the latest government gun-grabbing scheme — to deny firearms to people who are suffering from mental illness and PTSD.

Infowars.com will watch this story and report to our readers any crucial details either ignored or glossed over by the corporate media.

Demand for gold coins in the US has soared since the presidential election, as small investors fret about the lack of action to address America’s ballooning debt.

The US Mint’s sales of American Eagles, one of the most popular gold coins, leapt 131 per cent in November, hitting their highest level in more than two years. The Royal Canadian Mint also had its strongest month of sales this year.

Terry Hanlon, president of metals at Dillon Gage, one of the largest bullion dealers in the country, said sales had risen sharply “within a day or two” of the election.

DENVER — Go ahead and bust out the Cheetos and Goldfish, Colorado. Marijuana is now legal in the Centennial State.

Just over a month after the citizens of Colorado voted overwhelmingly in favor of Amendment 64 to legalize marijuana for recreational use, Democratic Governor John Hickenlooper signed the Executive Order that makes an “official declaration of the vote.”

What does it mean?

“It formalizes the amendment as part of the state Constitution and makes legal the personal use, possession and limited home-growing of marijuana under Colorado law for adults 21 years of age and older,” the Governor’s office wrote in a press release.

That said, the release went on to say that that it is still illegal to buy or sell marijuana or to consume marijuana in public.

Confused? Don’t expect that feeling to become allayed anytime soon, the Governor’s office said.

pollen-burst-berry-burstYes, using weed is still prohibited under federal law. But with the appointment of the Task Force on the Implementation of Amendment 64, also announced Monday, the Governor hopes that the rules about how marijuana regulation in Colorado will soon be established.

“Voters were loud and clear on Election Day,” Hickenlooper said. “We will begin working immediately with the General Assembly and state agencies to implement Amendment 64.”

The Task Force will be co-chaired by Jack Finlaw, the Governor’s Chief Legal Counsel, and Barbara Brohl, the Executive Director of the Colorado Department of Revenue. There will be 24 total members on the group.

According to the press release, issues that the task force will address include:

  • The need to amend current state and local laws regarding the possession, sale, distribution or transfer of marijuana and marijuana products to conform them to Amendment 64’s decriminalization provisions
  • The need for new regulations for such things as security requirements for marijuana establishments and for labeling requirements
  • Education regarding long-term health effects of marijuana use and harmful effects of marijuana use by those under the age of 18
  • The impact of Amendment 64 on employers and employees and the Colorado economy.

The task force holds its first public meeting on December 17 and must report its recommendations to the governor’s office no later than February 28.

(NaturalNews) The latest report from the National Intelligence Council explores megatrends that will impact America through 2030. The report is a jaw-dropper, as it openly explains that America will be overtaken by China as the world’s dominant economic superpower. It also lays out the likelihood of megatrends such as global economic collapse, wars over food and water, energy scarcity and the rise of the individual against the state.

The full report is available as a download from the National Intelligence Council website.

HBC-Champion1“In terms of the indices of overall power — GDP, population size, military spending and technological investment — Asia will surpass North America and Europe combined,” the report concludes. Rather than the world being dominated by a single superpower as it is now, China will be the global force to be reckoned with, it says.

The report also warns that if the U.S. government collapses or suddenly weakens, it would set off “global anarchy.” This is especially worrisome, given the accelerating financial debt blowout strategy being pursued by President Obama, who has added more debt to the federal government (by far) than any other President in U.S. history. Now at $16.3 trillion, the national debt is only accelerating, putting the nation on a collision course with certain economic collapse.

The rise of China has already begun

Just this week, China has been seen buying up key assets from the U.S. private sector. A Chinese firm recently won the bid for U.S. battery maker A123, one of the darling alternative energy companies highlighted by the Obama administration. Now, Wanxiang Group Corp. will be purchasing the company for $256 million.

Also today, a Chinese consortium group is purchasing AIG’s aircraft leasing business ILFC for a whopping $4.8 billion, giving China a ready network of private aircraft worldwide.

According to Reuters, China went on a “deal-making spree” in 2012, spending $56.8 billion on acquisitions. A Chinese company has also recently purchased a Canadian energy company Nexen for $15.1 billion.

Earlier this year, a Chinese firm also purchased the AMC movie theater chain for $2.6 billion, giving China near-total control over what movies are shown in America. This has already resulted in one striking piece of editorial censorship with the movie “Red Dawn” which was painstakingly altered to change Chinese enemy soldiers to North Korean soldiers in order to appease the Chinese government. If the film had not been altered, it certainly would not have been shown in AMC theaters, now owned by the Chinese. This is how communist Chinese propaganda has already reached U.S. shores.

We pay China to take over America

So the way this works is that Americans buy cheap plastic crap manufactured in China and sold at Wal-Mart, then China uses that money to turn around and buy America’s energy companies, technology companies and infrastructure hubs. Little by little, China takes over America’s economy and businesses. This is part of the strategy of how China achieves global dominance by 2030.

The rise of China is just of one the many trends outlined in the report. Also noted are the demographic aging of the global population, the continued rise of the population and the urbanization of the population (i.e. more people living in cities). The global population is expected to hit 8.3 billion by 2030, barring the release of a global pandemic which is also flagged by the intelligence report as a possibility. (They most likely know this because they are the same people planning on releasing a deadly pandemic bioweapon as a form of “population control.”)

Food demand will rise 35 percent by 2030, the report warns, and global demand for fresh water will rise 40 percent, reaching 6,900 billion cubic meters. This level of demand is simply not possible to meet with today’s water infrastructure, and the report predicts the rise of regional water wars in Africa and the Middle East, along with severe shortages in India and China.

The report also predicts that global climate change will cause increased radicalization of crops and food production, further worsening resource shortages. Whether a fluke or part of a large pattern, we have clearly seen radicalized weather in North America over the past few years, with 500-year droughts devastating the Midwest this year, and another 500-year drought slamming Texas last year. This has sent price shockwaves throughout the food and feed industries, and food inflation is on track to hit hard in February of 2013.

Also mentioned in the report is the “energy independence” of the USA, which is achieved by exploitation of the huge deposits of oil shale that have already been identified in America. The report concludes that this energy can be extracted in large volumes, returning America to complete energy independence. It does not, however, discuss the environmental impact of extracting and processing all this shale oil.

On December 5, we covered Quentin Tarantino’s latest film, Django Unchained. In a review of a trailer of the film, we noted that it is an unabashed effort to stir racial animosity and kick-start a possible race war.

“Like Robert Rodriguez’s Machete, Django Unchained creates a world of hostility and violence ordered along racial lines. It is propaganda for a race war,” we wrote.

Give your kids ALL the vitamins and minerals they need.

Give your kids ALL the vitamins and minerals they need.

“Django, of course, may be viewed as merely a b-movie directed by a guy who has made a handsome living off gratuitous blood and gore. However, when its inflammatory sub-text is inserted in the tinderbox social and political environment devised by the elite, it may prove far more damaging than its facile and cartoonish exterior reveals on first glance.”

Now the film’s star, Jamie Foxx, has gone on SNL and has expanded the race war narrative. From NewsBusters today:

Two weeks ago, Oscar-winning actor Jamie Foxx made national headlines when he called President Obama “Our lord and savior.”

While hosting NBC’s Saturday Night Live this weekend, Foxx joked about how in his new film “Django Unchained,” “I kill all the white people in the movie. How great is that?” (video follows with transcript and commentary):

JAMIE FOXX: My name is Jamie Foxx. Give it up, give it up, New York City, Saturday Night Live. Come on, make some noise, man. New York City, New York City, Brooklyn, Staten Island, Queens, it’s crazy. I’m black, and I’m dressed all black cause it’s good to be black. Black is the new white. I’m telling you, how black is this right here? Nice fly, I’m saying. You know how I know black is in right now? Cause the Nets moved to Brooklyn. How black is that? They got black jerseys, black court. I mean, how black is that? And Jay-z is the owner, a rapper. How black is that? And Jay-z only own about this much of the team. But he act like he own all of New York. How black is that?

Bob Costas recent anti-gun rant gave at least one high profile rocker Cat Scratch Fever.

Last Thursday, classic rocker and Second Amendment preservationist Ted Nugent came out blasting NBC sports announcer Bob Costas following his recent anti-gun remarks during last week’s Sunday Night Football game.

Nugent, ever the fervent gun rights advocate, expressed utter disgust at Costas’ “blundering ignorance” of constitutionally protected rights in a piece titled “Bob Costas is Dead Wrong”published in the Washington Times last Thursday, saying, “If there were a free speech penalty for blundering ignorance, a penalty flag would have been tossed at Mr. Costas.”

He begins with a sobering fact: “As you read this, know that by the time you finish, somewhere in America a fellow citizen will use a gun to stop a crime and save a life.”

“Just as we shouldn’t blame forks for obesity, pencils for spelling mistakes or water for drowning, trying to blame access to guns for the murder-suicide in Kansas City is chainsaw-juggling, woodchipper-diving bizzaro logic,” says Nugent, echoing sentiments expressed by Alex Jones and Infowars.com that, by Costas’ own skewed reasoning, blaming guns for Kansas City linebacker Jovan Belcher’s and his girlfriend’s deaths is like blaming spoons for obese people.

Costas also, Nugent argues, willfully ignores the countless times an NFL player’s death was caused by something other than guns, demonstrating the gun-grabber’s glaring hypocrisy:

“What Mr. Costas didn’t say and possibly doesn’t know is that 2 million Americans use guns each year to defend themselves from punks and thugs. Access to guns saves an incalculable number of lives each year. How about that, Mr. Costas?”

“Just a few years ago, a drunk NFL football player ran over a guy and killed him. As I recall, the player paid off the family of the deceased and only did 30 days in the slammer. Where was Mr. Costas on this? Did he opine that easy access to alcohol and automobiles was responsible for this death? To those liberals who want to restrict or ban access to guns, do you also support banning booze because drunks kill roughly 12,000 Americans each year in drinking-and-driving slaughters?

Nugent concludes with a recommendation “not trust any fuzzy-headed goofball” using “liberal fairyland pseudologic.”

“We have more than enough gun laws in America. Another law or restriction would not have prevented the Kansas City Chief murderer from killing his girlfriend or himself. That’s the ugly reality that Mr. Costas obviously refuses to embrace.”

Costas has been facing fierce backlash after he cited an excerpt by Fox writer Jason Whitlock that blamed the tragic deaths on Belcher’s possession of firearms during last week’s Sunday Night Football, concluding that “If Jovan Belcher didn’t possess a gun, he and Kassandra Perkins would both be alive today.”

After a good workout, replenish your body with Rebound

After a firestorm of criticism, Costas, rather than recall his statements, instead showed up on MSNBC’s The Last Word with Chris O’Donnell defending his unmistakable attack on the Second Amendment, pointing out that “65 out of 80 Colts players admitted to owning guns” and that “Even if all those guns were obtained legally, you can’t have 65 guys in their 20′s and 30′s, aggressive young men subject to impulses, without something bad happening.”

Nugent recently found himself in a Secret Service “stranglehold” after he compared the Obama administration and Democrats to a coyote that’s broken into your living room: “It’s good people who bent over and let the enemy in. If the coyote’s in your living room pissing on your couch, it’s not the coyote’s fault. It’s your fault for not shooting him.” Days later he was cleared of any wrongdoing.

****In response to Bob Costas’ unmistakable declaration of war on the Second Amendment, Infowars.com is launching a new contest looking for the best video taped open letter to Mr. Costas telling him why the Second Amendment, citizen gun rights, the Bill of Rights and the Constitution are essential to a free society.

The contest aims to call attention to the media’s blatantly transparent efforts to control and shape public opinion in regards to firearms.

Additionally, everyone is encouraged to mail spoons with notes to Mr. Costas because, by his own logic, spoons are responsible for the rising obesity epidemic that has claimed the lives of millions of Americans.

Join Infowars.com in boycotting the NFL, NBC and Bob Costas unless they issue an apology and renounce their claims against the Second Amendment.

Send open letter videos to contest@Infowars.com for a $1,000 grand prize.
