War of words over standoff with feds intensifies

Paul Joseph Watson
April 11, 2014

Clark County Commissioner Tom Collins has caused outrage by remarking that Utahns planning to travel to Nevada to support Cliven Bundy in his standoff against the feds “better have funeral plans”.

Image: Tom Collins (YouTube).

The comments were revealed by Darin Bushman, a Piute County, Utah, commissioner after he spoke with Collins about Utah ranchers and his colleagues on the County Commission complaining about tactics used by Bureau of Land Management agents during their seizure of Bundy’s cattle in southern Nevada.

“I was just told by commissioner Collins of Clark County NV that all of us folks from Utah are a bunch of “inbred bastards” and if we are coming to Clark Cointy NV to support Cliven Bundy we all “better have funeral plans”. We should “turn our asses around on mind our own f-ing business”. Now there’s some classy leadership for you,” wrote Bushman on his official Facebook page.

After the story was picked up by the Las Vegas Review Journal, Bushman responded to the controversy by posting on Facebook, “I guess I’ve made an enemy in Las Vegas.” The commissioner also lambasted Clark County Sheriff Douglas Gillespie as being, “too spineless to exercise his Jurisdiction”. Earlier this week, Cliven Bundy called on Sheriff Gillespie to start arresting BLM feds on charges of trespassing and theft.

Collins’ remarks were made in the context of him fearing that protests against the BLM could turn violent, which is ironic given that the only person invoking direct violence is Collins himself.

“I’m trying to do everything I can to discourage anybody who tells me they’re coming here with loaded guns,” Collins said. “I’m going to tell them not to come,” adding, “The Bundys want peace, they don’t want any violence going on so all these gun-packing folks just need to go home.”

Clark County commissioners will hold a meeting next week to discuss issues of decorum in response to Collins’ comments. It is unclear whether or not any action will be taken against him.

Bushman questioned Collins’ sanity in light of his offensive comments.

“This guy was just off-the-hook weird,” he said. “I’ve never ran into a fellow commissioner who treated me like that.”

BLM attempted cover-up of Sen. Reid/Chinese gov’t takeover of ranch for solar farm

Kit Daniels
April 11, 2014

The Bureau of Land Management, whose Director was Sen. Harry Reid’s (D-Nev.) former senior adviser, has purged documents from its web site stating that the agency wants Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy’s cattle off of the land his family has worked for over 140 years in order to make way for solar panel power stations.

The first segment of the document pulled by the feds from

Deleted from but reposted for posterity by the Free Republic, the BLM document entitled “Cattle Trespass Impacts” directly states that Bundy’s cattle “impacts” solar development, more specifically the construction of “utility-scale solar power generation facilities” on “public lands.”

“Non-Governmental Organizations have expressed concern that the regional mitigation strategy for the Dry Lake Solar Energy Zone utilizes Gold Butte as the location for offsite mitigation for impacts from solar development, and that those restoration activities are not durable with the presence of trespass cattle,” the document states.

The second segment of the document pulled by the feds from

Another BLM report entitled Regional Mitigation Strategy for the Dry Lake Solar Energy Zone (BLM Technical Note 444) reveals that Bundy’s land in question is within the “Dry Lake Solar Energy Zone and surrounding area” which is part of a broad U.S. Department of Energy program for “Solar Energy Development in Six Southwestern States” on land “managed” by BLM.

“In 2012, the BLM and the U.S. Department of Energy published the Final Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement (PEIS) for Solar Energy Development in Six Southwestern States,” the report reads. “The Final Solar Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement assessed the impact of utility-scale solar energy development on public lands in the six southwestern states of Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah.”

“The Approved Resource Management Plan Amendments/Record of Decision (ROD) for Solar Energy Development in Six Southwestern States implemented a comprehensive solar energy program for public lands in those states and incorporated land use allocations and programmatic and SEZ-specific design features into land use plans in the six-state study area.”

In 2012, the New American reported that Harry Reid’s son, Rory Reid, was the chief representative for a Chinese energy firm planning to build a $5-billion solar plant on public land in Laughlin, Nevada.

And journalist Marcus Stern with Reuters also reported that Sen. Reid was heavily involved in the deal as well.

“[Reid] and his oldest son, Rory, are both involved in an effort by a Chinese energy giant, ENN Energy Group, to build a $5 billion solar farm and panel manufacturing plant in the southern Nevada desert,” he wrote. “Reid has been one of the project’s most prominent advocates, helping recruit the company during a 2011 trip to China and applying his political muscle on behalf of the project in Nevada.”

“His son, a lawyer with a prominent Las Vegas firm that is representing ENN, helped it locate a 9,000-acre (3,600-hectare) desert site that it is buying well below appraised value from Clark County, where Rory Reid formerly chaired the county commission.”

Although these reports are in plain view, the mainstream media has so far ignored this link.

The BLM’s official reason for encircling the Bundy family with sniper teams and helicopters was to protect the endangered desert tortoise, which the agency has previously been killing in mass due to “budget constraints.”

“A tortoise isn’t the reason why BLM is harassing a 67 year-old rancher; they want his land,” journalist Dana Loesch wrote. “The tortoise wasn’t of concern when [U.S. Senator] Harry Reid worked with BLM to literally change the boundaries of the tortoise’s habitat to accommodate the development of his top donor, Harvey Whittemore.”

“Reid is accused of using the new BLM chief as a puppet to control Nevada land (already over 84% of which is owned by the federal government) and pay back special interests,” she added. “BLM has proven that they’ve a situational concern for the desert tortoise as they’ve had no problem waiving their rules concerning wind or solar power development. Clearly these developments have vastly affected a tortoise habitat more than a century-old, quasi-homesteading grazing area.”

“If only Clive Bundy were a big Reid donor.”

Update: The Drudge Report, the #1 news aggregate site in the world, has now picked up this story. Unfortunately for the BLM, the documents they wanted to delete are now exposed for the world to see.

“Don’t we pay him to protect our life, liberty and property?”

Paul Joseph Watson
April 10, 2014

Nevada cattle rancher Cliven Bundy has called on Clark County Sheriff Douglas Gillespie to start arresting Bureau of Land Management agents on charges of trespassing and theft as his battle against the federal government intensifies.

Bundy’s dispute with the feds escalated yesterday when several of his supporters were assaulted by BLM officials. The BLM is currently rounding up Bundy’s cattle in order to enforce a regulation in order to protect an endangered desert tortoise after 600,000 acres of public land was reclassified as federal property.

During a Moapa Valley town hall meeting last night, Bundy said he went to visit Sheriff Gillespie a few days ago but “found him hiding under the table”.

“He is the man that has constitutional jurisdiction and authority, he has policing power here in Clark County Nevada, and he has arresting power, so we elected him and we pay him, what do we pay him to do?” asked Bundy, adding, “Don’t we pay him to protect our life, liberty and property?”

Bundy noted that his life was under threat because he couldn’t get a response from a 911 call, adding, “My liberty is threatened when they lock me away from my land and my property and I can’t care for my cows….they stole my property, around 300 head of cattle….they stole them in Clark County Nevada.”

Bundy also called on Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval to make a stand for residents of Clark County. Sandoval publicly blasted the BLM over their creation of a ‘First Amendment Area’ outside of which free speech is banned while also decrying the “intimidation” tactics used against the Bundy family, but he has yet to offer anything other than vocal condemnation.

“I love you people, and I love this land, and I love freedom and liberty, and I love the sovereign state of Nevada and nobody can tell me the United States owns this land,” said Bundy, adding that he would pay any grazing fees to Clark County and not the federal government.

Asserting that the land under dispute was owned by the people of Clark County, Bundy asked, “Is the United States government trespassing on your land?” to which the crowd reacted with an emphatic “yes!”

During the town hall meeting, Bundy’s sister, Margaret Houston also spoke about how she was assaulted by BML agents earlier in the day, remarking, “It felt like a war zone and I felt like I was not in the United States….they have snipers, they have helicopters, they’re carrying machine guns, it’s not pretty, it’s like a foreign country.”

The fact that at least 200 armed federal agents are watching Bundy’s ranch from a military-style compound with sophisticated surveillance technology has sparked fears that the dispute could escalate into a Waco-style assault.

Infowars reporters are now on the ground in Nevada to cover this unfolding story.

“They’re spending us to death,” said landowner Andy Barrie.

He is not talking about property taxes, inflation or even the cost of skiing in glitzy ski country. Rather, he’s talking about the legal fight he and his wife have been waging to save their pristine piece of mountain property — with breathtaking views of Colorado’s high country — from being taken over by the county through eminent domain.

Their battle is a unique test of private property rights. Unlike in countless other cases, where local governments have used those powers to seize land to make way for a road or some economic development project, Colorado’s Summit County is using eminent domain to go after the Barries’ land simply because officials want the open space.

Principal orders police to remove student for expressing himself

Adan Salazar
April 7, 2014

A student was arrested at an Indiana high school last week after he voiced a dissenting opinion concerning a school official.

see video here.

200 students staged a sit-in last Wednesday around noon at the Lake Central High School in St. John, Ind., protesting their school’s apparent lack of concern for one of their peers, who recently committed suicide.

The students were upset the school had not made an intercom announcement calling for a moment of silence in honor of their well-liked peer.

“One moment of silence for my son over the intercom, that is all we are asking for from the school,” the mother of the deceased pleaded to principal Robin Tobias, who in turn responded, “Thank you can you please sit down now? You’re not in charge here, I am.”

In footage shot discreetly by one of the student protesters, Principal Tobias is witnessed attempting to lecture students about how staging a sit-in is not the appropriate way to resolve their conflict.

“I am disappointed in every one of you,” Tobias began telling the students after he managed to get them to quiet down.

“We’re disappointed in you,” Hunter Ernst, 18, of Schererville, replied, to which students cheered and applauded in support.

At that point, as if in some future dystopian world, Principal Tobias signaled a school officer to take the boy away. “I’d like him removed please,” Tobias is heard telling the officer.

Ernst was arrested and taken to the Lake County Jail where he was released on bond the same day. He was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and possession of a pocket knife on school property, the St. John police chief told the NWI Times.

“The students who participated in the sit-in were dismissed from the building, and their teachers were instructed to mark them as absent, Tobias said,” according to the Post Tribune.

“There is a right and wrong way to solve a problem. A sit-in/open protest is not the right way,” Tobias stated.

The principal elaborated in a letter he sent out Wednesday night.

“[..] There is no easy solution when 200 kids decide to create a sit-in within the middle of the school in order to demonstrate a point of view, while making demands. Options could range from yell (and yell louder), make threats, have police arrest them all, suspend them all … etc., all this while trying to reason with emotional teenagers who have defined a personal purpose, but who also need to get back to class.”

Principal Tobias later reasoned that the intercom was not used because of the nature of the death and because the student in question no longer attended Lake Central.

The day of the sit-in protest another student at the school committed suicide.

One of the primary functions public schools serve is to indoctrinate students to accept a culture in which dissent and free thought are neither encouraged, nor tolerated. For the most part they have managed to do this, however, when certain brave students take it upon their own initiative to stand up for what they believe to be right, it is imperative those students be made an example of, lest the contagious glimmer of hope be noted, received and emulated by other students.

“It has been said that America’s schools are the training ground for future generations,” John Whitehead, president of the Rutherford Institute, has written of the indoctrination taking place in public schools. “If so, and unless we can do something to rein in this runaway train, this next generation will be the most compliant, fearful and oppressed generation ever to come of age in America, and they will be marching in lockstep with the police state.”

(NaturalNews) President Obama gloated today over the obedience of millions of Americans who were forced under penalty of law to purchase overpriced health insurance that benefits Big Pharma and the sick-care industry. Claiming 7.1 million enrollees — a number so wildly fabricated that it generated bouts of laughter from those in the know — Obama accused critics of the forced government mandate of “trying to scare people” away from getting health insurance.

Obama’s celebration of Obamacare is politically equivalent to Kim Jong-Un celebrating how many people in North Korea praise him when required to do so in his presence. It’s the moral equivalent of a Venezuelan socialist election where if you vote for the tyrant in charge, you get a free lunch; but if you vote for the opposition, you get a bullet to the head. Obamacare’s “victory” is the philosophical equivalent of every dictator who has ever shoved a gun in the faces of helpless citizens and told them to swear their allegiance to him. Only in a totalitarian regime does the President celebrate millions of people being forced into compliance and call it a “victory.” The very idea is morally repugnant and wholly anti-American.

If you’re forced to do it, then it’s not really a free choice, is it?

It reminds me of those police-run roadside blood-draw checkpoints where drivers are waived to the curb by gun-toting police and told they need to “volunteer” to have their blood drawn without a warrant. According to the police, these checkpoints are a huge success because there are “so many volunteers!” Gee, do they really think all these people would agree to have their blood drawn if there wasn’t the implied threat of guns in their faces?

If millions of people had been given a free choice and voluntarily chosen Obamacare health insurance, that would be a genuine victory worth celebrating. But for Obama to celebrate a forced, penalty-ridden government mandate shoved down the throats of the People is a violation of the basic tenants of human freedom. With this program, Obama joins every other tyrant in history that threw people in chains for daring to think for themselves and oppose a forced government program. Gandhi himself would have resisted Obamacare and marched on the national capitol to oppose it en masse.

Enrollment surge proves the power of fear and force to push people to reluctant action

The last-minute surge in enrollment at was, of course, little more than a fear surge by people scared they might be penalized or audited by the IRS if they don’t conform to the mandates of the dictator. When millions of people agree to enroll in something only when they are forced under penalty of law to do so, only a true political coward (or tyrant) could characterize it as a victory.

What we are really witnessing with Obamacare is a national disgrace: a totalitarian government forcing people to buy into a failed health care system that’s so destructive, it kills 205 Americans every single day from superbug infections alone. And while the promise was that Obamacare would cost you about the same as a mobile phone bill, that promise was yet another gross deception pushed onto the American people. In reality, families are paying thousands of dollars a year for basic coverage, pushing many household into a state of financial crisis while bankrupting businesses and municipalities in the process.

Obamacare insurance premiums are costing people MORE money, not less, so now Obama has switched his rhetoric to claiming Obamacare is causing health insurance premiums to rise less quickly than they would otherwise. How’s that for political sleight-of-hand trickery? Yes, your rates are going up under Obamacare, and yes, you are forced to buy these products even if you don’t want them and don’t use them, but somehow Obama claims he’s protecting you by making you do all this against your will.

If Obamacare is a success because so many people were forced to buy into it, then by the same token Hitler’s rounding up of Jews at gunpoint was also a huge success — they went along with it, didn’t they? So it must be popular, according to Obama’s twisted logic. And if it’s popular, then it must be morally right, too, say socialists. Because they believe 51% of the people have some sort of universal right to enslave the other 49% in total violation of human rights, civil liberties and fundamental human freedom. The limits of government be damned… Obama’s gonna call this program a huge success even if the “applause” lights are accompanied by men with machine guns enforcing the command.

Along these same lines, here’s a video of North Korean citizens crying at gunpoint over the death of Kim Jong-Il, the tyrant socialist dictator who uses government force and mandates to demand obedience:
